California Earthquake ShakeOut - Don't Freak Out!

This IReporter traveled to the most dangerous fault in California, The San Andreas, and to The San Bernardino County Museum in Redlands to file this report for CNN on the 2nd Annual Great California Shake Out.


Watch the video as Mr Mealey takes viewers thorough the fault zone as it crosses the 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass, the location is about 35 miles from his home. He also takes us to one of the most dangerous freeway interchanges in California, the 215 / 10 Interchange near Redlands. The San Jacinto Fault, a offshoot of the San Andreas, lies right under this overpass.

The report concludes at the location that will be hosting one of the main events, The San Bernardino County Museum. Hundreds of school children, emergency responders, geologists, politicians, and the public will gather to conduct one of the largest earthquake drills ever practiced. Read the whole article:
